Porn without plot (PWP) is fine on occasion but not as a steady diet.
Snuff for the sake of showing how may ways there are to eliminate a person just shows that someone needs serious help of a professional kind.
The same applies for serious PEDO. A young person exploring their limits and learning about themselves is normal and healthy. Someone abusing a child that doesn't konw the difference of right and wrong isn't my cup of tea.
BD/SM is a whole different kettle of fish. Safe/Sane/Consentual are the passwords of that particular community in REAL LIFE. In fiction and fantasy, anything goes. If the story is meant to be a reflection of REAL Life I expect REAL LIFE morals and constraints.
I will only review stories I have completed (as much as possible). If your story doesn't hold my interest to the point that I abandon it, I will NOT give it any type of review. I have been known to send a feed back to the author about it though.
Plagerism or taking an idea and making it your's is just plain wrong. Using the ideas and characters of others without permisssion is wrong.
Writing is supposed to be creative not copy cat, If I wanted copy cat, I'd read a popular female author who's been writing the same storyline over and over again for the last 16 years.
Hard turn offs: Snuff, Pedo, Rape
Hard turn ONs: Good character developement, good spelling and proper word usage. (shutter=window coverng///Shudder=full body shiver).
I'm not an English major but I can read and write a proper sentence. Not being able to do that takes away from the story and does a disservice to the reader and the author.
I have started to give my own rating to certain types of stories. This is the FD (Frank Downey) hankie rating of one to five hankies, depending on the sugar content.
