A Story in the Fate Universe
We all, man or woman have used the excuse of a gender to explain why we do or did something. The snake or scorpion strikes at the one who saved it from drowning Why, because... that's what they do. In simple terms humans, animals, whatever often do what is in their nature to do, they do not think beforehand nor plan out the consequences of their actions.
Do You Believe In Magic?
One way or another things that are supposed to happen do. Take Ben and Bev for example. Things between them were, well, pretty dull. The right time, the right conditions and, Wham! 5 years of dull and they get a new spark. Where would it end you ask? Read on Mac Duff and you'll find out. That is if Bev and Ben can survive that first adventure together. 'Live' off the land, how appropriate that saying would be.
People can make a difference
We all know I'm sure that life is never fair. There is a balance though, Life and Death have rules, limitations and even a few exceptions. Much like Magic, one offers something to get something. Usually things of near equal value. These are not relative values. The saying an eye for an eye, a life for a life are amazingly appropriate references. Let me relate some stories which may help you better understand how this works.

The Crusades were calling, but unlike those crying out to free the Holy Lands his call was to support any who would pay his price. That might have worked fine if he had not met Kali. You all have heard of a love/hate relationship I am sure. Imagine two people with nothing in common except being top dog in their world. Makes for interesting times.
A Story in the Eden Universe
Parts of life may often not be what they seem to be. Some such things, wrapped within an Enigma, as someone once said. Our story can't be proven, but there are enough unexplained things in this world to make one wonder. Naamah, at least is real. The Old Testament said her brother was 'Cain' and we might surmise how that worked out. But what if she was around long before then. What if what we think of as 'newly discovered' science was merely something known long ago. Read on Mac Duff.

The last thing she feels obligated to do is to make certain her brother has a good life when she is gone. They meet Wendy by accident and Miranda sees what she thinks is a match made in heaven.
