Life can go many ways; some good, some bad. We often hear much about the bad, little about the good.
These are a collection of stories. Usually there are winners and losers. Some here may have more than one of either.
Sometimes all there is left is Hope. Mix in Faith, a kind heart and a lifelong commitment kept and something will eventually happen. Ellen Donaldson tried to believe, wanted to believe that things would be Okay once more. Good things come to he or she that waits, right?
Not everything is predictable. Some things just do not go the way we think they should. Times are a'changin' even in Texas. That adage about a door opening when another closes is not always true. My best friend, Hell, my only friend, had told me 'Life is not fair'. Man, is that an understatement or what? Follow my buddy Sam while he tries to change his luck from 'No Luck at all' to something better. The damn fool just does not realize he draws trouble like a horse to water. We'll see!
Love may take many forms and meanings. In our story it is one-sided and takes the toll of many lives and loves. Duty, Honour and responsibility also require a high cost, as we find out. 100-200 years ago one's options in life were not as varied as we have today, for a woman, leading troops in the military was unheard of, even if she was the daughter of the Tsar.
Work, after college, was not at all what Jason expected. Then again what he went into after was much different than what one would expect. His search for Treasures brought him some rewards he never expected either. One has to wonder if trying to do the right thing could have its own rewards.

Some people live life different than the rest of us. One thing we have in common though is when a problem occurs, it is up to us to do everything possible to correct it. Rich, poor, old and young one never knows.
When you do not have it or you need it almost anything will be done for money. Not everyone would agree with that though. Learning that is a difficult lesson and often comes at a high price. A famous line from Hollywood is 'Show me the money'. Like in the picture real life often reaches the same conclusion as to what that goal is really worth. Happiness does not always equate to wealth and success. Well, sometimes it does. Let's see what happens in this fictional story!
With ISIS, Presidential Vetoes and, Oh Yeah an election underway I thought something not 'PC' (politically correct folks) would be in order. Bella is introduced, she is not from Prague but she learns a few things that 'BIS'(Czech Secret Police) would be proud of. This will be a short one but Bella will appear again, maybe in a future chapter if 'Ginny' using my 'Pappy' Pen.
Remember your first day at college or university? I do. Shawn and Georgina will never forget their's either. In some ways they were always together, everyone that saw them thought so, but not in the way one would think though. You need to ask yourself is friendship enough.
