Life can go many ways; some good, some bad. We often hear much about the bad, little about the good.
These are a collection of stories. Usually there are winners and losers. Some here may have more than one of either.
William had 3 older brothers and knew his option there was very limited. The Crusades were calling, but unlike those crying out to free the Holy Lands his call was to support any who would pay his price. That might have worked fine if he had not met Kali. You all have heard of a love/hate relationship I am sure. Imagine two people with nothing in common except being top dog in their world. Makes for interesting times.
Y'all have heard the story about the bear, right? Well, not much different as far as life goes. You have good days and bad days and in-between you just try to survive not knowing when your luck will change. Rich or poor, there is little one can do to change things; call it Fate.
We all, man or woman have used the excuse of a gender to explain why we do or did something. The snake or scorpion strikes at the one who saved it from drowning Why, because... that's what they do. In simple terms humans, animals, whatever often do what is in their nature to do, they do not think beforehand nor plan out the consequences of their actions.
Sometimes we get what we want. Sometimes it does not happen exactly the way we wanted though. Who says 'Never look a gift horse in the mouth', or something like that.
