A nice little short story. The good guys win the bad guys are humiliated and nobody gets killed.
Josh is burned and burned badly. His ex(slut) just does him wrong. The one thing she didn't plan was being seen. Oh darn, too bad, she's outa here !
Enter Becky, head and shoulders better with class and her own past. It could be a rebound for here or just letting herself go. Either way, she's a class act and it seems to work while it lasts.
Both characters are believable, the jerk is believable. Heck, even the bystanders are believable.
The only knock is that more character development would be nice. This could be a longer story with a lot of side plots. Like what happened to his ex? What happens to his trusty sidekick, Derek?
I'll leave it at that. I said it all in the first two sentences.
I like Becky.
