Good follow on from part 1, further hockey action, modelling, gathering of female attractions and business prospects. "White Knight" activities.
Again, well written in most parts which got let down by some grammar errors, but still immersive. Worth the read.

Dman2, the second Mike Stewart story is a page turner.
Cold Creek has done another excellent job of telling a story that puts the hero in a little harm, allows him to save the damsel and still go to college and kick some SAS butt. (Although that one was a bit of a reach) Instead of just telling the folks he'd only been a practitioner of martial arts for a few months, perhaps he could have said, "I've been practicing for a short time but everything was geared to serious protection and NOT completion."
Just an aside, I wonder if Cold Creek would like to have Michael dropped into Lazlo's Damsel in Distress world of Chaos. I'm sure he would make a Caretake EXTREMELY happy.
Follow Michael to the islands of the Caribbean to the islands of the North Sea (the UK)then the Cote d' Azure by way of Spain and back again. Talk about jet lag. All in all it's still typical Michael. Although I'm sure if the Queen REALLY wanted him back she could have ordered the flight to turn around and had him "escorted" to the ceremony he ditched.
Yes Mikey is hob nobbing with the rich/famous and royal.
But you have to read on to find out how who and does he really get to "Bag a Princess?"

Sports & Sex... what's not to like, eh?
The second installment in Mike Stewart's story is crazier than the first. More women, more celebrities, more jet-setting, more... well, more of everything.
College and hockey take a back seat for a little while. Readers will never ask for more action, that's for sure. The pace is frenzied, almost too but only almost.
The author gets carried away when the 18 year-old college freshman becomes buddies with Emma Watson, Kristin Stewart & the Queen of England. It's temporary insanity and it is entertaining, but it is a departue from The Defenceman.
The guts of the story are sound and the characters are likeable. The plot lines are very well-developed and there's enough sex to keep you interested.
It would be better with an editor, the scores reflect that. At the end of the day, it's still a very good story.
