A story in the Kaire Universe
A human born in the peacekeeper clan is sent to Central to discover the truth about missing crew. He is also looking for hints of something called the Hunt Society. It is a secret organization with the purpose of hunting sentient beings. Only with these killers he must be prepared to be the hunted.

The second Deviant war continues as they strike yet another Kaire system. Of course Kaire are not just warriors, they are hunters and sometimes those are more deadly. The Kaire have learned to avoid direct combat with armies of drones. Now they just have to find a way to kill the Deviants that control them.
After a gate opens and dragons and their kind come through the realm becomes chaos. That starts one man's trek to the distant dwarf mines to make weapons to kill dragons. Of course there is a young woman left out as a sacrifice to the dragons and drakes to face. Once the weapon is made it proves deadly to dragons but takes every bit of courage he has.
With the gift of magic at an early age his future was open. When the serial killer strikes and his family is taken that future only has one path. Of course when the killer is caught that path changes slightly. The inspectors did not know or expect him but who is going to turn away a mage that is trained? Now it is just a matter of time for the killers because once on the case he will not give up.
After earning my degree I entered the engineer guild. That got me my first job in space, only it was far from friendly. When I found a problem with a lifeboat I should have checked it better. When the drill sounded during the night they kicked us free after disabling everything so we would die. Only I knew what I was doing and managed to save us. When we reached the next system it was to find the ship empty and the mutineers running. That was when I began to hunt them for what they had done.
New technology keeps me alive but only after switching bodies for hundreds of years. Now I am tired of it and once more I am protecting a spoiled child. Only this time I have met a girl I am thinking of staying with. Of course the killers hunting the boy have other plans.
The youngest son of the emperor dislikes the things he has had to do. Not only can he not follow his dreams but thing are about to get worse. The guards the nobles have forced onto his family turn and most of his family is killed.
A simple mission to gather intelligence and leave it for a foreign monarch ends successfully. Only on the way out I meet a girl that changes my life. When I return home the courier and a kill team try to take us out. It was only an annoyance but meant someone knew who I was and where I lived.
Raised and trained to be an Angel Maker for the emperor was not easy or for everyone. We were the emperor's trouble shooter's sent in when normal channels were not working. We restored the balance and kept the bad guys from taking over. It did not matter if it was a corrupt system government or criminals, we eliminated the problem.
