The Deviant war was killing a lot of Kaire and even though we were winning we needed to adapt. I was picked to travel to a friendly empire to learn what I could about human space fighters. I got more than I expected and sent details and plans ahead to make and refit fighters. There were still battles ahead and it would be the first time we used the small ships but it was time to take the fight to the Deviants.
As a younger grandson of the leader of clans I had to put up with many things. One was the constant demands from clan leaders for me to mate. I had put up with it for years but sometimes it is how you answer and not the answer itself. I also chose to leave for Nor and follow my heart. I wanted to grow things, to be an agronomist but even there I had to fight for what I wanted.
(Set in Addison World) A Kaire away from their empire and sent to protect elders of other clans. Unsure of the huge trees he finds friends in the dragons. He must protect the elders but also hunt and bring back some of the smaller cats found in the forest.
A human born in the peacekeeper clan is sent to Central to discover the truth about missing crew. He is also looking for hints of something called the Hunt Society. It is a secret organization with the purpose of hunting sentient beings. Only with these killers he must be prepared to be the hunted.
First contact between Human and Kaire proved both were arrogant. When a Slith hunt ship arrived the colony was just starting and not prepared. What happened when they attacked brought both races together into one. It had the whole galaxy thinking they were mirror images or twins.
The move to Avalanche was to expand our clan. The world was huge with long and cold winters. Even meeting his mates for the first time does not stop the hatred of fanatics. When they bring their transport down and kill the pilot it is only the beginning. Now they must fight back and human fanatics are no match for a Kaire.
Abandoned as a baby I was raised by old human woman. She died when I was sixteen but left me educated and with a future. I became a protector and finished my schooling. It was two years before I met another Kaire and it was more than a shock. Of course I escaped before embarrassing myself and took my client to his appointment. I barely saved him but did not know I also became a target and would face a fight for my life.
