Many of the same characters as those in Summer School. There are some tears, some drama and yes, some romance in this story. Hank Rawlings is still the teacher
Charlie was a special operator. Not the kind you hear about on TV, but one of the Air Force's offerings. Jacks of all trades, and Masters of each and every one of them, the members of the Para Rescue teams of the USAF are all that AND all the bags of chips. ** I left this story in one large piece, sorry, but I didn't see a need to break it into chapters since it seemed to defy the attempt. This is a story about a man who gave everything and had everything taken from him. It's a bit darker than my usual stuff. I put it in the romance category because of the ending. A Weaver's World Story A young student finds himself spurred to enlist as the result of being given a white feather, for cowardice, by his ex-girlfriend. Facing death and near disaster at every step, he learns about different colored feathers, such as the blood red arrows of the Boar-Men. Damaged in heart and soul, he returns home to a land nearly without men, to feather her nest in an entirely unexpected way. An interlude, and the 2nd story of Weaver's World.

A The Chronicles of Dan Hayward Story Dan's fifty-third birthday celebration goes horribly wrong. A teasing joke with Karen causes them to argue over her not facing her miscarriage. Karen leaves the party yelling they would all be better off if she was dead..."I sure hope Mom doesn't go and do anything stupid like hurting herself. She wouldn't, would she Dad, hurt herself...or possibly even kill herself?" Brad asked tears forming in his eyes. "Right now, Brad...I'm not so sure," he confessed.
