We often discover things too late in life to do much about them. In life, more than one person, though can better understand things. Sam was only 8, but she had lived a life no one should have to. It took a long time before she could understand 'true love'.

Facing death and near disaster at every step, he learns about different colored feathers, such as the blood red arrows of the Boar-Men. Damaged in heart and soul, he returns home to a land nearly without men, to feather her nest in an entirely unexpected way. An interlude, and the 2nd story of Weaver's World.
This is a story about a man who gave everything and had everything taken from him. It's a bit darker than my usual stuff. I put it in the romance category because of the ending. Unfortunately, this sort of thing happens so much to our soldiers, marines, sailors, and airmen when they're deployed. As I said in my blog post, this is partially based on reality.
