In the old times, family activity centered around the hearth. Socializing, story telling, meal preparation, repairing and creating various items, and religious worship all took place in this one part of the home.
Stories from the Hearth is a universe filled with stories that have one common thread. Each one is centered around or heavily influenced by the Norse gods and goddesses. The settings for a particular story could be modern or historical or myth. It may be an original retelling of a story from the Eddas or sagas or a fiction about someone who could be your neighbor. There will be sex in some/most of these stories, but it will be part of the story, not the story itself.
Imagine, you are 87 years old and it is literally your last night on Earth - non-negotiable. You have one opportunity to resolve one issue before you die. All of your family and all of your friends are dead. There is only one other person you care about and she is 60 years younger than you and has no idea that you love her. Oh, did I mention the Norse Goddess of Death is involved?
