A Story in the Anthony Carter Universe
Thomas Grey is sent to Bermuda to command the Navy Station at this important way point for British trade. The suppression of the rampant smuggling, but also the dangers of the Yellow Fever require his attention, whilst a feud from his youth is finally resolved. Finally, Thomas returns to his alma mater as commanding officer, his life coming full circle. This is Nº6 in the Thomas Grey Saga.

This is about the aftermath of war and people's sacrifices. He didn't want to leave his young wife but his sense of duty made him answer the call. Nevertheless, there are always consequences for every decision and his were very severe indeed. I try to post something every July Fourth to honor those who served. This one cuts a little closer to the bone than most. So, I hope you enjoy.
