Reviewed:
Great little story for those romantics at heart. A man trained as a sniper makes a decision that changes first his life, and years later, the world.
It is difficult to build a great character in a story as short as this one, mainly because it does not have the length most stories take to properly develop the characters. This author still managed to do it. For plot, an outstanding 10. He manages to fill in the backstory perfectly, and leaves us knowing how it all ended up after it was all said and done.
For technical score, another outstanding 10. I am not sure if it was due to being caught up in the tale or simply to great editing, but I only found two errors in the whole story. For a work of this size, well done!
For personal appeal, an unusual sweep with another 10. The author will have you crying at times, particularly if you are a parent, as you imagine something similar happening to your child, but the well-told tale allows for that. To merit a 10 in personal appeal requires a story I would willingly read again.
