OldSarge69: Stories

Alan, a 27 year old disabled Marine, is trying to resume his life after several tragedies, including the death of his wife and children and his own failed suicide attempt when he meets Mindy. Alan was convinced that love was a weakness and he would NEVER again allow himself to fall in love. Unknown to Alan, love would enter his life two years later "on little cat's feet" and "like a thief in the night" in the persona of Mindy.

It was with a growing sense of disbelief that John listened to his step-daughter's best friend. Did Kim just tell him she had a butt plug stuck up her ass and couldn't get it out? That it was causing her severe pain? Based on the tears and the anguished look in her eyes, John could see that something was causing the beautiful young woman considerable distress... but a butt plug? You know... there are just times when you have to offer someone help!

I had been sitting in the food court when I was nearly hit by falling boxes. Offering to help triggered an outburst from an angry young woman. "What, you see a cripple and think you have to help? What do you know about handicaps? Why don't you shut up and leave me alone!" she screamed. The entire food court was silent. I didn't respond, just got my cane from a chair where I'd left it. As I was leaving the food court I heard, "Please stop!" The words weren't quite so angry now.

The cross-hairs of my sniper scope was lined up on her face and I started to squeeze the trigger. Suddenly, she looked directly at me. She was in a situation that should have terrified her, yet I could see no fear in her eyes. I could see anger, defiance and then a look I could only call relief. She gave a half-smile, then nodded her head. Was she was telling me to shoot? It was impossible that she could know I was there, yet I felt she knew. For the first time, I failed to eliminate a target!

Julie knew she was falling in love with a co-worker, an older guy named Sam. Sam had lost his wife years earlier and Julie suspected he was still grieving. Just as she began to feel there was a chance for the two of them, she heard Sam's late wife had been a supermodel. Looking at herself, Julie saw someone tall & skinny, average looks, very small boobs and hardly any butt. Is there a chance Sam could stop loving memories of perfection and be interested in her?

USMC vet Sam is working in his yard one day when an errant soccer ball hits him in the side of the head, sending him face first into a flower bed and possibly into an unexpected love. An inauspicious beginning to be sure, but then the best things in life often come when we least expect them. And will Sam and Jessie's relationship survive not only emotional scars from the past, but also a killer tornado?

The Morning After for young Christy began with dry heaves, a splitting headache and the inside of a mouth that tasted like a kitty litter box. Then it got a lot worse as she found out not only what she had offered to do the previous night, but had actually begged for - and also realized the only thing she was wearing was a t-shirt that didn't belong to her. Did she? Did he? Did they?
