He finds that his training as a Marine sniper in Iraq does him a world of good as he lives his new life in the midst of the Indian Wars. His old hobby of Cowboy Shooting is just icing on the cake. The only dialect is in some of the dialogue. This story is in answer to requests for another time-travel Western.

John Oakley was your average Federal Marshal escorting a sadistic sociopath, Jess McFarland to trial for a new crime when he was ambushed, tortured, and left to die or not as the fates chose. He survived and became a bounty hunter. He was fired from his Federal Marshal job because of what his captors had done to his left knee and right hand. This is the story of John's three-year search for his tormenters. John's primary weapon became a shotgun firing "buck and ball." / (Reviews)
Tom Olson, 11 years old at the time, fights off four men who have just murdered his father. Naturally, he calls out the man who ordered the murder. He takes care of that man and his two body guards, but has to run for Mexico to escape a Federal warrant for his arrest. Tom Olson is just an "innocent" boy who winds up being a terror to the bad guys. The dialog has dialect, but not the rest of the story.
