What begins as an innocent game soon spirals into blackmail, unexpected desire and outrageous adventures, proving that in rural Dorset, the Wild West is closer than anyone imagines.

The most popular slogan in the post Civil War period was "Gone to Texas" or simply "GTT" because the promise of living in a free society without restrictions of too much government was too tempting to resist.

The valley was seething with conflict. At first, it seemed the settlers and the cowboys were the story, but then the sheepherders moved in and the farmers took second fiddle to the war between the Texas Consortium and the remnants of the old Cattleman's Association now tending the flocks of sheep that slowly destroyed the eco-system.
