Among those are a bunch of game-developer nerds and a whole flock of porn starlets. It helps to have read other stories in the Swarm Cycle before reading this. / (Reviews)

He rises through the militia and challenges some of the Confederacy's basic principles and its planetary AI. All on his way to becoming The Assassin. / (Reviews)

A story in the Lucky Jim Universe
Okay, okay. So many readers have suggested that I write a futuristic space-age Lucky Jim that I started several different versions and managed to complete two. This one seems to be the best fit for the Lucky Jim series, although it's a bit different. Space opera set far in the future. While previous Lucky Jims are mentioned, and a general knowledge off the LJ series is helpful, its not necessary to enjoy this story.
Perky, beautiful Brook is united with her father for the first time when her mother marries the man she never knew before. The curious teen overhears more than she bargained for while spying on her parents having sex in their hot tub. And after seeing her pretty best friend, Cindy, is treated by her own father, Brook grows more determined than ever to get as much love as everyone else around her.
