A story in the Lucky Jim Universe
Okay, okay. So many readers have suggested that I write a futuristic space-age Lucky Jim that I started several different versions and managed to complete two. This one seems to be the best fit for the Lucky Jim series, although it's a bit different. Space opera set far in the future. While previous Lucky Jims are mentioned, and a general knowledge off the LJ series is helpful, its not necessary to enjoy this story.

Escaping the fall of his beloved city, the last master of his religious tradition, Borner, escapes through the forgotten depths. He flees to an unknowable future, haunted and hounded by his losses. A Swarm Cycle Story
Set in Thinking Horndog's Swarm Cycle universe. Not everyone with a high CAP score is gung ho to leave Earth. And sometimes, apparently unlikely people show remarkable loyalty and unmatched determination to stay here on Earth to fight off the Swarm. Among those are a bunch of game-developer nerds and a whole flock of porn starlets. It helps to have read other stories in the Swarm Cycle before reading this. / (Reviews)

A Christmas Story

49-year-old Walker's was a part-time walk-on, walk-off film and TV film extra, with no acting aspirations. He was also a man with a past that he couldn't shake off. Abigail was 26, once a child actor and now a rising star with a highly promising future in the movie business. Surely, there was no way this couple could ever share the red carpet at The Oscars?
