When the Korean officer De-Yong is on the verge of dying in a duel against a samurai, a kumiho saves his life. A Wasps Story Join the inter-species crew of the battle carrier "Freya" as they roam interstellar space hunting down and killing Wasps. They meet all kinds of strange beings, some good and some bad, but all victims or potential victims of the Wasps as they try to control the galaxy. Possibly the "Freya" was misnamed and should have been called the "Bug Bomb!" FTL travel does weird things to your sense of humor.

Jack Witherspoon was a precocious kid, especially when it came to guns. He started out as a farm boy, but had killed his first man by the time he was 13. He became a professional gunslinger and managed to accumulate a big load of gold while he was still young. Later on, he wound up with five wives. The dialog is pretty thick, mostly with the dropped “d” and “g” word endings. I hope you enjoy the story, anyway.
