An Ark Story (1)
Earth's civilization will end in 17 years when 95% of the Earth's population is killed. Jon is selected to create a polygamous society to repopulate the world and as its leader he must create a harem and a foundation that will aid him in preparing a shelter for over 1 million people and in creating a new society. The disaster cannot be prevented. It must remain a secret or Earth's governments and people will panic and try to take the shelter away from Jon and his foundation's employees.

An Ark Story (2)
Part 1 described preparing the Ark to shelter 1.4 million people from the meteoroids and virus that would kill 95% of Earth's population. Part 2 describes the Arkians' preparation to return to the surface, how they deal with the people who were left on the surface, and their struggles to create a new society. The story covers the Arkians' first year on the surface. Reading Part 1 first is strongly suggested. The story's real action begins around Chapter 4.

Ego is an interesting thing. It often leads us into doing and saying inappropriate things. A massive ego in a supposedly educated person who is in a position of power can have a devastating impact on those around them and change everyone's life forever. A short story about such an individual and his associates who were willing to tamper with things they did not understand.

Hal, a traveling salesman, encounters three women in a cocktail lounge. One of the women just filed for divorce, and the three friends are talking about why the relationship failed. Doris, Hal's cocktail waitress, joins Hal, and they discuss why Hal believes most relationship failures are caused by a single reason, and how to avoid that mistake.

She was 19, pregnant, abandoned, no place to live, and broke. I was 70, a widower with a Daughter and Granddaughter, and financially secure. When I first saw her, I knew I wanted her in my life forever. She was suspicious and wanted little to do with me. I wore her down.
