A Story in the Sweet RAD Universe
Women stop getting pregnant. Occasionally the right man with the right woman under the right circumstances can make a baby. But how to figure it out? After early efforts aren't good enough, the problem is turned over to a friendly computer network. Everyone who wants one gets a cheery little electronic friend who manages his or her sex life. But things don't always go smoothly. The story moves among eroticism, humor, and contemplation of what such a world might really be like.

A spaceship is going to colonize a new planet. Towards the end of the trip, a major goal is increasing the colonist population rapidly. To conserve resources, people spend most of their time asleep, often awakening just long enough to procreate. Then Jason is found to have a gene which makes him the preferred father for every new baby. 'How do I fuck thee? Let me count the ways.' Emotional positions, not physical.

After discovering that her closet is a doorway leading to an alternative universe, Jilly uses it to find sanctuary from her abusive father and sympathetic, but weak-willed mother. As the teenager's life takes one bad turn after another, she begins to wonder if she couldn't stay on the other side forever.

Anne is a fourteen year old girl who thinks she is too plain to attract her handsome father. She finds out a girl doesn't have to be a trophy wife or a porn star to be sexy. I like this character more than most I've written. She is tough, determined, and willing to go after what she wants. She realises that she is responsible for her own happiness. Treating everyone with respect and accepting the validity of teenagers' sexual desires is a major theme. I hope you enjoy this short story
