Bluedragon fans rejoice! For those looking for a little tide-me-over in between Ben's sophomore and junior years in college in the Ordinary Sex Life series, the author gives you "O.S.L.: Elyse," a dark backstory of Ben's nemesis, Elyse Laughton.
Set in the years prior to Ben's confrontation with Elyse during spring break in high school, "O.S.L.: Elyse" is told in first person by the title character and gives a view of trials and tribulations among the popular crowd. It's a story of innocence profoundly lost, and gives insight into the character of the young woman with whom Ben reconnects at California as a drugged-out shell of her former self.
As always, bluedragon's prose is both engaging and gripping, and the eroticism is at a high and very dark level. Fans of OSL's Adrienne Dennis are treated to a clearer picture of her development as a high school queen bee, and the OSL universe in general becomes that much more fully formed.
Perhaps best of all, "O.S.L.: Elyse" is spoiler-free, and can be read without ruining any surprises in bluedragon's upcoming "An Ordinary College Sex Life 2."
