Music critics. The kids were going to have to deal with one eventually. This is short, but hey, it's something. -- I'm numbering them so that they will be listed in chronological order. Every now and then I might stick something in that happened before something else.

A half-drowned stranger suffering from exposure and speaking a foreign tongue is brought to shore in an isolated fishing city at the height of the Cold War and mistaken for a Russian spy. Meanwhile, his girl mourns for him.

A chance at reconciliation lost. A life unfulfilled.

I received a joke by e-mail today and it hit me that there was a short story in that humor. I had to sit right down and polish off this story in order to get back on one of my other stories I was in the middle or writing.
