Two hyper-competitive couples let their battles for one-upsmanship nearly destroy their lives and those of their closest friends around them. Can they ever declare a truce or will there be 'Pistols for Two' with tragic results? There is not much sex and the story codes are largely incidental. An odd sort of drama/romance with a touch of humor.

He was happy until he found she was never pregnant, and that her visiting "brother" from home was really an old lover! Sometimes life sucks.
