A family has everything going wrong as far as a family is concerned. The father is NOT the father of the daughter. Mom got pregnant and convinced another man that it was his child and they got married. The man was to inherit a large family business, but he lost everyting and stayed drunk and in-out of jail most of the time. Mom got a job as a waitress and sold herself to help support the kids, pay bills, etc...
brother and sister back for the summer from university, they live in a rural village and soon get bored so, go for a walk, they pass the big house where their parents are attending a meeting, so they decide to see what all the fuss is about.
The plot follows a family of four for 15 days, 24 hours a day. In those 15 days, every detail of what each of them accomplished during the day and night will be described, but the twist is that you can read the story from the perspective of each of them separately. The plot is synchronized, so the reader will hopefully be able to appreciate how the same situations look from a different perspective or how they experience them.
It is a novel about people who dare to let their most base desires surface, but most especially it is about the eager members of a fatherless family, their monetary problems, and their taboo desires. In their quest for mere survival, they are swept into an illicit web of lust, from which none of them seem willing or able to escape.
