My interpretation of a very old book I once found in a library. A bug was created in a lab that escaped. It ate plastic, and reproduced very very fast. Here's my 21st century version of it.

A story about a pair of fraternal twins who live out in the sticks and become very close growing up. A new kid moves in near them and Kathy suddenly has a new friend to play with and Mike gets jealous when he finds out how they play together. Mike will do anything for Kathy, anything at all, but telling the new girl their secret? That takes some thinking about: And the new girl has a terrible secret of her own. / (Reviews)

A war hero lives for ninety years and saves an alien. They are so grateful they offer him another life. At their urging he chooses to become a beautiful bisexual female. She has her share of affairs and is successful in business.

A Story in the Three Valleys Universe
The United States settled the Project 1950s as a lifeboat in case of a nuclear war. The founders picked an alternate time line where humanity died out with the Mt. Toba eruption of 75,000 BC. It is currently some 18,000 BCE, and the height of one of the periodic ice ages. Wendy van Veldt is an engineer-in-training. Her plans for the next few years are to start her career, and live happily ever after with her husband and her wife. Things don't quite work out that way.
