A California Central Valley Summer Heat Story
Sam and I visited my cousin Jeremy in Bakersfield that summer. I cannot for the life of me remember why we were there, but I remember the visit very well. You don't need to read any of the other stories in this series to enjoy this one, but if you do read them you'll know a little more about Sam and me and our friends. This visit took place before Sam and I had consummated our love.

Old fellah gradually collects some friends to share his interests in sex, diving, boating and mushrooms. They include a formerly hot young chick with a grandfather fetish who is now an old chick, a very well brought up Catholic girl, now exploring all sorts of new and exciting experiences, an old diving buddy with an interesting past, and some neighbours with their own secrets. As the story develops, the personal histories of the characters emerge. Various adventures follow.

A Story in the Middlebury Chronicles Universe
Mark and Kari consider joining the junior executive ranks at J.A.M. Aluminum, which means Kari would become part of EPOD, an executive 'perk' for senior VPs. This story closes the gap, so to speak, between the stories "A Chance to Advance" and "Insomnia," both of which were written by the great Vulgus, one of the kings of this genre of writing.
