When he wakes he is cared for by an woman named Alla and her family before being sent back across the Afghan-Paki border and his life as a sniper. But even back home recovering or with his unit, his dreams are haunted by an angel. Will he ever see her again?

They soon learn that things are much more complicated and far reaching than they had been led to believe. Far reaching enough to cause an Interstellar incident.

This is a result of Veteran's Day thoughts. Meant to be something of a tribute to the generation of Soldiers/military that came before me. A family story told in two parts, the father and the son and contrasting the experiences they each would go on to have. No sex. Part 2 will be coming within the next few days.
