But even back home recovering or with his unit, his dreams are haunted by an angel. Will he ever see her again?

This is a result of Veteran's Day thoughts. Meant to be something of a tribute to the generation of Soldiers/military that came before me. A family story told in two parts, the father and the son and contrasting the experiences they each would go on to have. No sex. Part 2 will be coming within the next few days.
