Military Stories

This is a result of Veteran's Day thoughts. Meant to be something of a tribute to the generation of Soldiers/military that came before me. A family story told in two parts, the father and the son and contrasting the experiences they each would go on to have. No sex. Part 2 will be coming within the next few days. But even back home recovering or with his unit, his dreams are haunted by an angel. Will he ever see her again?

A little different take than most of my stories. Anyone who has ever served in the military has probably met someone like Master Gunnery Sergeant Samuel Obediah Lewis, Sr., USMC Retired, and his thoughts on names for his children. And even if you never served you may still know someone who obsesses over naming their children after entertainers or athletes. Hope you enjoy it.
