There is no reason to make life worse than it already is.

The nature of a life in a human society is that life sucks, then you die. The nature of life in a war is that life sucks, then you wish you were dead.

Waging war and physical conflict is humanity's ode to entropy. Nature disallows violations to the 2d law of thermodynamics. Armed conflict is humanity's alter of sacrifice to the physics of an uncaring universe.

There are many reasons offered for instigating a state of war; none truly logical. There are a few reasons for a state of civil war; some may have veracity of principle and preservation.
