This is one of my longer stories. Paul has neighbors who he socializes with, before and after his divorce. He is attracted to the wife but remains aloof. When she becomes widowed, he tries to lend support for her and her nineteen-year-old daughter. Consoling them both at different times, during a period of 'pillow talk' the widow tells him about how she grew up and how she met her husband.
Somewhat repressed Dani seems too innocent and too plain. Why was sharing a friend's dowdy wife with friends and pizza so surprising? =================== I hope someone can divine why my muse ejected me from bed and pressured me to write this. I haven't a clue. It is a fun read too. You may want to read the story behind this story which is appended, for now.
Patrick is captured when very young and soon learns the trade of raiding the British coastline for booty and young females. Most of the young females are quite happy with the change in lifestyle suddenly forced upon them.
Moving to Central America, a man and his wife had plans to live a life as expatriates. But an accident tears the dream asunder and leaves a man alone in life except for the teenage daughter of his housekeeper. They must continue on together with no one but each other to hold close. They soon become closer than either expected.
Hank King was born on a newly settled planet. This was part of the great Diaspora intended to settle the overpopulation problem on Earth. Four promoters came up with a scheme that would make them the lords and masters of 1,000 serfs on the new planet. This is the story, in 10 chapters of how Hank led the great revolution against the despots and made the planet a decent place to live. This is the coming of age story of a genius.
