This story is a dark mystery, a horror story full of evil acts, and a woman's journey to regain memories of her life while trying to remember what happened on October 31st, ten years earlier.

A number of dream filled nights leading up to Halloween lead a young woman to discover her true destiny. I had originally hoped to enter this story in the Halloween contest but about 20% of it was AI generated (I needed a kickstart after a bad bout of writers block and also some descriptions of historical events), and I wasn’t going to deceive anyone about AI use.

The hall monitor or moderator didn't read my note and posted it early and not with the other contest entries. Anyway, enjoy the story, Sci-Fi is different for me.
