A Halloween 2021 Contest Entry
A short Halloween story with a bit of paranormal stuff thrown in. Takes place in the American Southwest a few years back perhaps. A first story for me. I'd like to thank RLFJ for all his help in editing and in posting and background advice. It's a vastly better story with his input, any errors are mine of course, as I am a bit stubborn.

Two people , tired of being chased and pushed into relationships for all the wrong reasons, manage to stumble into each other, and magic occurs, or vaporizes, depending on how you see it. Many thanks to Jody Daniel and RVBuilder for all their help, guidance and support. Mistakes are mine, I have a talent there.

An old man meets a thirty something lady who used to be a TV announcer in the mornings. They strike up an aquaintance that blossoms and becomes a lot more than the old man ever expected. Too Short for the Halloween Contest
