Billy Mulberry plans to make a move on the pretty college cheerleader at a Halloween party, so you can imagine his dismay when she is surrounded by several boys and shows no interest in him. But the unexpected occurs. A girl dressed as a princess starts talking to him which leads to an unbelievable experience. (Second place winner of SOL's 2011 Halloween Writing Contest.)

A Halloween 2021 Contest Entry
A short Halloween story with a bit of paranormal stuff thrown in. Takes place in the American Southwest a few years back perhaps. A first story for me. I'd like to thank RLFJ for all his help in editing and in posting and background advice. It's a vastly better story with his input, any errors are mine of course, as I am a bit stubborn.

Tom and Darla have been friends for years but he could never see her as anything other than a friend. One night, during a Halloween party, Darla decides to see if she can get him to truly see her, even if he doesn't know it's her.

Vassy Skon was in a very dark place as a result of witnessing her boyfriend being slaughtered in front of her, years ago. Many had tried to bring her back, but all had failed. An unwitting event unknowingly initiated by Wyatt Witten, tweaked something in Vassy deep memories, brought her back to her family and provided loving friend for Wyatt.

Carl is a divorced man, who is spending the night before Halloween alone because his daughter decided to go to a party instead. But when shopping he sees a rabbit costume, so decides to crash the party and check up on her. Clitoride award winner for Best Furry/Best/Zoo Story in 2020
