A little historical piece that’s shamelessly historically inaccurate (it would have even Robert E Howard shuddering in his grave coz I sat here with a pile of his books in front of me looking at the style he wrote in and just murdering it altho then again, Howard was pretty good at murdering history himself so maybe he’d just laugh. A flight around the world in a World War II fighter: girls, adventure, and lots of time to think. This novel has sex and adventure but like flying, most of the time is just tooling along enjoying the view and thinking. Please don't read this if all you want is sex. You'll be disappointed. An Uncle Bob Story
There is a story about a frog that is put into a pot of water at room temperature. The pot is put on the stove and the heat is increased slowly. The frog is alleged not to realize he is being cooked, even up to his final moments. I understand that frog, because in a sense, the same thing happened to me. My house was the pot. My niece and her two friends were the water. And a happy little accident was the source of the heat that slowly cooked me.
