This started when I was 41yrs old, I am 52 now. This is going to span multiple parts because it is long.

Colony world of Crocodylia
Crocodylia is a harsh world and scientist stand little chance of surviving if someone does not watch them. To make it worse this group wanted to study the ocean creatures which are even larger and deadly. Most of my job is shadowing them and watching everything else. There is also having to feed them and reminding them of danger.

Jayden Hurst becomes a candy striper at the local hospital. She enjoys helping people. Dale Green is a mature male in the convalescent area waiting to be released. Jayden's visits with him bring the two very close, providing him with much needed relief. The surprising part is that his wife, Keniesha, agrees with the services Jayden provides her husband.

This is one of my longer stories. Paul has neighbors who he socializes with, before and after his divorce. He is attracted to the wife but remains aloof. When she becomes widowed, he tries to lend support for her and her nineteen-year-old daughter. Consoling them both at different times, during a period of 'pillow talk' the widow tells him about how she grew up and how she met her husband.
