Honey is ready to take the stage with her mixture of class and crude. She wants to be good but can't help being bad.

Horace has trouble with his wife, his mother-in-law, and an older brother. There is a female friend who is there for him. He helps her when he goes to see her when her world came crashing down leaving her a pregnant widow. It takes several years to sort out. He finds he just needed to assert himself to make it happen.
