Her parents kicked her out of their house when they found she was pregnant out of wedlock. She raised her Daughter, Alicia, but, they lived in near poverty for most of their lives until her Father died and her Mother wanted them to return to live with her.
A Naomi's Journal Story Naomi's second journal entry recalls what got her started on this project. Her friend Faith comes over and Naomi, dressed in her maid's outfit, dusts her. Illustrated.
A The Engineer Story George narrates a little more and then Susan decides she doesn't want to eat her supper off Frankie. Horace has a potentially killer new contraption, there is a nearly new pony, a new track and new drivers. A new girl appears, ponies find relief. A pony is bred, but Susan objects to a second and puts her skills to good use, but nevertheless there is one. And then it largely goes tits up.
