An Addison's World Story My father was rich and a bastard. I was just another trophy and we were here on Addison so he could hunt and collect more. Of course Addison has hunters too and our hunt turns bad almost from the second day. Soon it is more a matter of surviving to return with a few friends we acquire along the way.
A Clar war Story I was small and never thought it would make me special. Of course the job they wanted me for was extremely dangerous. There is nothing like crawling into a hole and never knowing if an enemy soldier would be waiting or some trap. There were benefits too, like taking things we found or finding enemy intel that could stop an attack or turn the tide of the war.
A story in the Kaire Universe
An albino human outcast has a dream of becoming Kaire. When he finds out one of the local clan leaders plans to purge his clan of two girls he acts. Saving the two girls is only the beginning of his life as a Kaire.
A thief living his whole life at night and in the dark is offered a deal. Steal evidence from worse criminals and become a noble in the daylight. Only it is not as simple as it sounds, the constable making the deal is bent and the criminals are cannibals and waiting for him. / (Reviews)
A cargo master accepts two crates that are paid in full. On the way to the next system pirates attack the ship but they turn the tables on them. At the next port the merchant fails to pick up the crates. Once the ships lifts he finds two girls in the crates and his life is changed.
When a thief is cornered he does not have a choice. The rogue world of Carthy is home to outlaws and pirate and he is there now. Of course outlaws and those that support them have plenty of credits.
I never knew who my father was. When my mother took me to the fancy ball I was bored. Until the mercenaries struck and I had to protect myself and my mother. I failed and she and everyone else died. I staggered out with her body and my life changed. I found out who my father was but to me that did not matter, I wanted those that had killed my mother.
Wanting to serve was how it started. Taking action and embarrassing my commanding officers was how my career ended. Of course when the federation declares war on my race and kills everyone on my planet it deserves an answer. My name is Stalker and if it is a mage war I know how that is done.
Taken and raised in a cruel and deadly clan of assassins I managed to escape. The new planet I lived on was or seemed normal. I used clan funds I had stolen and helped the constables with hard or unusual cases. When a clan master came for me it was not to kill but with an offer. I knew better but it made me... curious.
I was a full mage finally and had put a lot of thought and research into the valley of the dead kings. I knew hundred or maybe more had tried to enter and steal the treasures but I wanted golden the libraries of the kings. I would have to fight magic with magic but also use elements to protect me from it, or from special traps designed to break magical defenses.
