A story in the Haven Tails Universe

It was written as something that he was doing to pay tribute to soldiers he had served with and survived combat with (survivors from the "Worst Day" story). Note: I am not a bladesmith and have never touched a forge. So please forgive any inaccuracies in my describing the work done.

This is a domestic terrorist, Tom Clancy or Robert Patterson-style story. I started writing this story in July 2001, and I stopped on 9/11, and it's been languishing in my Zombie file ever since. I don't know if I'll ever get back to it. but I wanted to share it with you,

Ahmed ibn Malik's Saracens are investing the Heights of Hattin in late twelfth-century Palestine. The Crusaders come out to parley, led by Guillaume de Chauvigny, bringing his three sons. Malik sees Chauvigny's 14-year-old reddish-blond and handsome son Andre and declares he must have him as a virgin. Turkish chieftain Yusuf bin Salah captures the boy and does everything he can to debauch him while leaving him technically a virgin for Ahmed's pleasure. Andre has his own secrets though.
