A story in the Haven Tails Universe
Archie McDermott’s war has taken him a long way from his father’s barbershop since Fireball Day, including a new family, but geographically, he hasn’t traveled very far, from Wheaton to Peoria, fighting the neofascist Justice Party faction in Illinois. His pursuit of vengeance is almost done, but he has a new purpose: rebuilding again in love, lust, trust, and faith in the new Havenite religion…and Schumacher Syndrome. He also has to deal with the ghosts of his tormented family past.

WWII is finally winding down, D Day has passed and Patton’s 3rd Army is rolling across France and about to cross into Germany. A medium Sherman tank up armored at the factory is delivered to Fort Knox where a new crew takes possession of her. They name her “Iris’s Revenge” why that name? I guess you’ll have to read the story and find out!

The Earth is wracked by the effects of global warming, and the Wasters are doing their best to complete the job. Jim Wilson and his two companions, a woman and a giant dog are doing their best to fight the Wasters at the behest of the United States of North America. This is a short (seven chapters) account of a small portion of their battle. There is some rape, but it is an integral part of the story. / (Reviews)

The ground shook with each hit. She held the other airman in her arms; both were hurt. They kissed. Wilkins was supposed to be going home today. Was this war? A Stinger missile streaked into the air. Ahmed ibn Malik's Saracens are investing the Heights of Hattin in late twelfth-century Palestine. The Crusaders come out to parley, led by Guillaume de Chauvigny, bringing his three sons. Malik sees Chauvigny's 14-year-old reddish-blond and handsome son Andre and declares he must have him as a virgin. Turkish chieftain Yusuf bin Salah captures the boy and does everything he can to debauch him while leaving him technically a virgin for Ahmed's pleasure. Andre has his own secrets though.
