The first time he sees her, he was eating lunch at one of the many sidewalk cafés, located in the city's suburbs, sipping on a Chai Tea Latte with Biscotto. He has no idea as to what she has planned for him, the poor sap. It is another sunny day, as the light filters thru the multilayers of translucent panels from the Dome, which covers the town, allowing life to be bearable with all the sunny days; every day is sunny on Mars, now that all the kinks are out of the system.

A fourteen-year-old TV actor sends a letter to black tennis star Jason Magubi saying he’d do anything to be able to sit in Magubi’s player’s box at the U.S. Open tennis tournament. Magubi invites him to sit in the box for his quarterfinal men’s match. If he wins, there will be a party afterward. Magubi wins the match. There’s a very private party.
