A generations old land "taking" and a recent swindle complicates a man's life and then things get worse. The woman who gave him a ride has problems, too. Maybe the two can find answers to old and new questions, with the right kind of help.

Unbeknown to her a powerful general from a rival kingdom is a genetically modified human. By chance and political events, they meet and sparks fly.
