Too bad that forum is now defunct and I have no way to contact him. It's a mixture of a 1950's twilight zone episode combined with a quest in Fallout 4. Yeah, it comes out as goofy as it sounds.

A Swarm Cycle Story
This story progresses over an extended period, from the time "The Good Ship Lollipop" arrives to found the experimental Harrad Colony on Pern through the development and first deployment of a new weapon some fifteen years later. I think you'll enjoy this story more if you have read others in my series.
