Jordan worked with the Red Cross to help hurricane victims. He let the homeless Jennifer and her daughter live in his home until they rebuilt their lives. Shortly, he wanted to keep them as his second family. The story was about the complications involved in trying to help others and keep his girl friend happy. Then, the international crisis changed everything.
The hero of this story went to Vietnam to serve his country. He left some DNA there. Some 40 years later a young girl, a Vietnamese/American from California arrives in Boston to attend Harvard. The two are soon connected...
John was a man's man and was soured on romance. Julie was half owner in "Menage A Trois," a sexy woman's boutique. It took corrupt cops, a shooting and a TV reporter to get them together. Oh yes, John got his erect "profile" shown on television. That helped the romance a little.
When his wife announces she's leaving him for her art professor, John wonders how he'll cope as a single parent running a growing business. His young sister in law joins him as a nanny for his daughter. Could she become even more important than that?
A Story in the Maggie May Universe
This is my submission to an invitation from Jake Rivers to write a story about the song Maggie Mae, or Maggie May. Hope you enjoy it.
Carly is a successful business woman whose adult son is having marital troubles. She wants to be there for both him and his wife. But her son Stephen takes her offer of help to an intimate place she never intended to go. After a short while, Carly's better judgment loses out and she moves toward her son and begins sharing his desires, and acting on them as well.
