A story in the Lucky Jim Universe
Okay, okay. So many readers have suggested that I write a futuristic space-age Lucky Jim that I started several different versions and managed to complete two. This one seems to be the best fit for the Lucky Jim series, although it's a bit different. Space opera set far in the future. While previous Lucky Jims are mentioned, and a general knowledge off the LJ series is helpful, its not necessary to enjoy this story.

Due to family matters a teen boy moves to the USA, where he learns to play, and like playing, baseball. He works hard and enjoys his baseball. To him it's a fun sport, but he can't resist when they offering him good money to play professional baseball. However, there's one problem, few paid ball players are true professionals. This is a story in the 'A Well-Lived Life' universe, and provides history and backstory for Spurgeon Capital, the Spurgeon family, the Glass family, the Lundgren family, Anala Subramani, Tom Quinn, and others from the 'A Well-Lived Life' series. The story stands on its own, and does not require reading any other stories in the universe.

An Australian soldier is killed in Afghanistan. Years later a young girl is abducted near her school in a rural Australian town. A strange man in worn Army camos discovers her. She has a rare blood group and is bleeding to death. It's a race against time. The local community helps by donating blood; neighbours and strangers are determined to help her. A Hindsight 20/20 Story
This is a coming of age story for a man that has gone back 35 years in his life. We can see how he would live differently knowing now what he didn't know the first time. Some codes are listed but not a major theme of the story others could have been listed but were left out for the same reasons. Some chapters have no sex and some contain orgies.
