The idea for this story has been bouncing around in my head for a while now and I finally was in a situation where I felt compelled to actually write it. The basis for the story is the song by the same name "One Boy, One Girl", by Colin Raye. So the idea and all lyrics quoted are credited to him and his songwriters.
