'Climbing the Ladder' is the story of Jonathan Kane, a young man from rural Ohio, who begins a new life in Chicago in the mailroom of Spurgeon Capital. This is a story in the 'A Well-Lived Life' universe, and provides history and backstory for Spurgeon Capital, the Spurgeon family, the Glass family, the Lundgren family, Anala Subramani, Tom Quinn, and others from the 'A Well-Lived Life' series. The story stands on its own, and does not require reading any other stories in the universe.

A young boy of ten loses his parents, leaving him at the mercy of Child Protective Services. When he expects the worst, a legitimate foundation swoops in, offering him a new family and a chance to regain his future, perhaps even a better one. Nothing is free in this world though, and no foundation or corporation is completely benevolent, especially one that holds lucrative patents in nanotech.

A Poacher's Progress Story
Vengeance, like duty, is a hard taskmaster, and Jack Greenaway's humanity, and mental robustness,is tested to the full in the search for the killers of his family. Rewarded for his past services to the Crown Jack is then given other tasks, one that will eventually take him away from England, but not before he learns some peculiar facts about cider making. A gas lit meeting leads to partnerships, corporative and corporeal, which restores his faith in himself, but not in God.

This is a simple, character driven romance. It follows Cousin Removed. There are also people and events from Maja's Mom and Science Experiment mentioned. The timeline of stories is, Maja's Mom, Science Experiment, Cousin Removed, Cousins Removed - A New Beginning. This story includes a previously posted story, "Thanksgiving" (modified for clarification) and provides the rest of the story. It is a romance and some may think parts of it are overly sweet. Love does that.

Sex has always driven the industry, and to compete with other companies as well as out do them, one company has gone the extra step. Virtual reality is the next step, but is it necessarily the correct way to market it? First of two part series.

This began as a story within a story and took on its own life. At the end of the first book, I realized my muse had more. The method of writing in which perspective is switched from male to female by chapter is continued. That has been fun and occasionally probably more of a challenge than my skills can handle. It's an exploration of a mature couple as they go through life. It also gives me a chance to write about radio which I enjoy doing as well as writing about. RG

Don was totally exhausted, both in mind and spirit, after the successful take down of Scott Lane and Baker Street. Even with the gorgeous Randi Farris as company, it didn't help! Waking up the next morning, his face buried in Randi's tummy, his chin tickled by Randi's little fluff of curly red hair above her 'man in a boat' that was when his subconscious reminded him of last evenings events in the shower. John Thomas had totally embarrassed him!!!
