A Glass Balls Story (3) The parallel adventures of Olivia Wright, art historian and sensuous woman, and Dom, the medieval youth, continue. Livy rediscovers a secret of Italian art and deflowers a young boy, while Dom experiments with gay love before finding two old friends.
After years of continual bickering, Don gets a heads up when he realizes his sister is actually a beautiful young woman. As a result their relationship improves significantly.
A brother and sister, in late blossom, get to spend a week alone down in Florida. There's some young stuff as a side story, but not that young, and as always handled in a very Losgudian manner. The endnote is worth reading.
When poor, unsophisticated Megan has to go live with her Uncle Bob in the big city, her cousin, Mark, tells her that to save water, they must shower together. She's from the hills, where things like that make a lot of sense. Mark didn't think she'd go for it at all, and when she did, things got a bit out of control. Then one day Mark wasn't there to take a shower with her. But Uncle Bob was taking one, so her problem was solved. Right?
Lauren graduates from school and takes a job as governess of two teens in South America. It is a job for which she is poorly qualified. A local war between the army and rebels makes them temporarily homeless, but even that shows how Lauren is willing to trade her body for temporary safety. Will they make it back home safely and will Lauren find the strength to do her job properly?
