A Story of the Am'mortal
Following a protracted war, an island changes hands from one race to another. As the new owners take over, the island seems to come with some oddities, including a story about a shipwrecked man of the new owners' race. One problem: they know this man does not exactly match their description. So the story soon turns into a popular and well-liked legend, especially to a bright-eyed young farm girl gaining reknown as a huntress. Can she find the "Wild Man" on her latest trip into the wilderness?

When the country rose up and revolted I had to save the two princesses. They were not like their father or other nobles. They had always treated me nice so I loaded them into a wagon and we took the back trails and roads. The first group of rebels must have robbed a noble because of how they were dressed so I acted like a rebel. I knew sooner of later I was going to have to fight and when the next group came I was right.

Welcome back to the battle ground of hell. A teenage boy and a few friends decide to hunt the single river out of hell for the bodies of dragons killed by patrol boats. Of course the ocean has other dangers and there are still soldiers to worry about.

Two years and I was extremely good at surviving hell and the horrors that lived in it. When a new terror begins to hunt soldiers I am offered a chance to earn a great deal plus my children being exempt from the draft. The new terrors are demons or creatures very much like them. Now I most use my skills and knowledge to hunt them and survive.

A Character Sketches of Sketchy Characters Story
'War meant death, death meant there were less people to grow things, to make things, to buy things. War meant that roads and rivers and seas were not as safe to move goods on as they should be. War brought with it uncertainty and when people were uncertain they seldom parted with coin easily, lest they need it and not have it when they did. No for them, stability was their creed.' - The philosophy of the Oracura
